FuzzFolio Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-03-02
Last updated: 2026-03-02
1. Who we are
FuzzFolio (“we,” “us”) provides analytics software for traders and strategy designers. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our websites, dashboards, and related services (the “Service”).
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name (optional), email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and account settings.
- Workspace content: scoring profiles, indicator configurations, thresholds, instrument lists, notification settings, and automation/webhook settings you create.
- Support communications: messages you send us (and attachments you include).
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics data: interactions with the Service (e.g., pages visited, feature usage), error logs, performance metrics.
- Device and connection data: browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, and similar technical identifiers used for security and reliability.
Payments (if applicable)
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. The payment processor may collect and store your payment details under their own policies.
What we do NOT collect
We do not ingest brokerage credentials, trading balances, or order history as a core part of the Service.
3. How we use information
We use your information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service (authentication, dashboards, alerts);
- run Signal Replay and other features you request;
- communicate with you about account, security, and billing;
- debug issues, improve the product, and prioritize roadmap work; and
- protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Notifications, webhooks, and automations
You choose which signals trigger notifications or webhooks. If webhook functionality is enabled for your account, we transmit only the payloads you configure to the endpoints you supply. We do not monitor, resell, or reuse your webhook payloads except as necessary to deliver them and troubleshoot delivery issues.
5. Analytics (e.g., PostHog)
We may use product analytics tools (such as PostHog) to understand feature usage and improve the Service. Analytics typically use pseudonymous identifiers and may receive technical data (like device/browser and IP). We aim to minimize personal data in analytics and do not intentionally send the contents of your scoring profiles to analytics systems.
Where available, you may opt out of non-essential analytics via in-app controls and/or browser settings. Some analytics may remain necessary for security and core operations.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, email, analytics, support tooling), under contracts requiring them to use data only for the services they provide to us;
- Legal and safety recipients if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security; and
- Business transfers if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not share your workspace content publicly unless you explicitly choose to do so.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Retention:
- We retain account and workspace data while your account is active.
- If you delete content or close your account, we remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, and may retain limited logs/backups as needed for security, integrity, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. You can:
- update account details in settings;
- disable notifications or webhooks you no longer want; and
- request deletion or export by contacting us.
9. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside our primary operating country, your information may be processed in other countries where we or our service providers operate.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice for material changes (email or in-product notice).
